On the Digital Commons Drupal platform that hosts 90 NC State Agency web sites there has been an increasing need to pull data from other data sources and display data on Drupal sites. This talk explores how to create a custom views query plugin and views filter plugins to get data from a Microsoft Dynamics API and use Drupal Views to display the data in a Drupal site.

Our content authors needed a better authoring experience than long scrolling form pages to build their complex page layouts so our team developed a better page building user experience using the Layout Paragraphs module and Single Directory Components.
