God Who Reveals Himself

God puts a desire in our hearts to know Him. When we respond to that desire and start looking for Him, He reveals Himself to us.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares God, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares God. Jeremiah 29:11-14

God first revealed Himself to me when I decided to accept a friends invitation to read the Bible with them. When I started to seek to know about God, God began to show me that He was real and that He loved me. I would encourage every person to take God up on His promise. If you seek to know Him with an open heart and mind, you will discover the God who loves you more than you could imagine, who has a plan for your good, and will help you with what you need when you pray to Him.

If you would like God to reveal Himself to you, I invite you to do the 21 Day Experiment.

Below are three video resources that tell the story of God's love. The first is a 6 minute presentation summarizing the whole story of God's love for mankind. The second is a series of messages that explain the story of the Bible that my church presented a few years ago. At the bottom is a movie about the life of Jesus that you can watch in any language.
